This unit introduces basal concepts in property law including the concept of a property right, the classification of property interests and the distinction between real and personal property. Interests, ownership, possession and transfer of rights (including via an agent) in personal property are discussed. This unit also provides an overview of the doctrine of tenure and estates and interests in real property, including indigenous property rights, as well as concurrent interests in land. -- Course Website
